Hi, I'm Lucy

I teach piano to all ages at all levels from beginner to advanced. My teaching style is classically based as I find it creates a solid foundation for understanding piano theory, building finger coordination, and reading piano music fluently. However, I love all music and am happy to teach any songs my students would like to learn in addition to their regular lesson material. 

I teach voice lessons to all ages at all levels. I incorporate some piano basics during voice lessons to help convey pitch, rhythm, and music theory. I strongly encourage students to pick songs they are interested in learning to sing in addition to their regular lesson material that we will be working out of together. This will help personalize the experience and spark inspiration!

Piano Key Concepts offers students the opportunity to showcase their progress and talent in two recitals each year—one in the spring and one in the fall. These performances provide a supportive and inspiring environment where students can build confidence, share their musical achievements with family and friends, and celebrate their growth as musicians. Whether you're a beginner or advancing in your skills, our recitals are a memorable and rewarding part of the learning experience.
