I teach one 30-minute or 1-hour lesson per week from my home studio, depending on which lesson plan you choose. I recommend 30-minute lessons for beginner students, and 1-hour lessons for intermediate and advanced students.

Books
Each week, we’ll work from the Piano Adventures books by Nancy and Randall Faber. Students will receive a link to purchase the books so they can practice at home and bring them to each lesson. The first set usually lasts between six months and one year, depending on lesson consistency and how quickly the student becomes comfortable with the concepts and coordination.

Weekly 30 minute lessons - $185.00/month
Weekly 1 hour lessons - $370.00/month
Payment for the entire month is due in full on the first of each month.
All students are required to set up autopay through PayPal via their student portal.
Trial Lesson
Trial Lesson
Piano Key Concepts offers a single half-hour long complimentary "no strings attached" trial lesson. This provides us with the opportunity to get to meet each other in a relaxed/no pressure environment where I can get a feel for your current musical knowledge and learning style. Afterwards, if you feel comfortable enrolling in piano, voice, or hybrid lessons, you can move forward with the enrollment process confidently.
Cancelation Policy
Consistency is key when learning piano. I strongly suggest scheduling piano lessons for a date and time the student is able to commit to each week. However, if a lesson must be canceled, a 24-hour notice is required.
Exception: If a student wakes up on the day of their lesson feeling ill, a 24-hour notice is not required, however, the student must notify me by phone or text to let me know they will not be attending.
Teacher reserves the right to send students home to rest if students are demonstrating symptoms of illness at the time of their lesson.
Please note, no refunds will be issued for cancelations.
Late Fee Policy
Payment for music lessons is due in full no later than the first day of each month. Piano Key Concepts offers a three day grace period. If payment is not made in full by the third day of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be added to the amount due.
Termination Policy
If a student wishes to discontinue piano lessons, an emailed notice must be submitted no later than the 15th of the month prior to avoid being charged an additional months' tuition fee. Please email your cancelation notice to lucy@pianokeyconcepts.com. - Please note, this policy has no exceptions and no refunds will be issued at any time.
Referral Program
If a current Piano Key Concepts student has referred you to my studio, please provide me with their name at the time of sign up to receive $25.00 off your first month's total. The student who referred you will also receive $25.00 off their total due for the following month.
